Join our Cambridge Hub Committee
Do you believe that engaging in social action should be the norm, not the exception? Are you driven by social change and youth engagement? Do you want to inspire and support others? Join our Cambridge Hub Executive Committee, passionate about tackling social issues and having a positive effect in the local community.
Cambridge Hub is a student-powered charity that supports & organises events and projects that focus on local action & volunteering, international development, the environment, sustainability and social enterprise. As well as supporting over 60 societies and local groups, our Ethical Network, we also organise events and projects ranging from the Cambridge Climate and Sustainability Forum to the Edible Garden. We're a student-led, staff supported team, so you are expected to take on considerable responsibility, alongside your degree and other activities.
We’re looking for motivated and passionate individuals to fill the following roles:
Chair
Finance Officer
Publicity & Outreach Officer (x2)
Opportunities Officer
Project Liaison Officer
Local Action Officer
Environmental Officer
International Development Officer
Posts will last one year, beginning in Easter term and concluding at the end of Lent 2020.
Being a part of the committee gives you access to a range of unique opportunities including:
