Coordinator/Cambridge Hub Environmental Officer
The CCSF 2020 will be coordinated by the Executive Committee's Environmental Officer. The role involves working to get more Cambridge students actively involved with environmental causes, by running critical engagement events and projects. They will work to promote sustainability throughout Cambridge Hub’s work, and will coordinate the CCSF in Lent term.
Key responsibilities
Help to guide committee members in their execution of tasks
The role primarily involves encouragement, delegation, setting deadlines, organising meetings, making sure everyone's ideas are listened to in turn and that the team gets along well and is pleased with the outcome
Collaborate with deputy coordinator
In consultation with deputy coordinator, option of managing directly either a) Publicity and Ticketing & Website or b) Finance & Logistics
Time commitment: Approx. 6 hours per week
Deputy Coordinator
Support the coordinator in their role (creating a flexible vision for the event and help to guide committee members in their execution of tasks. The role primarily involves encouragement, delegation, setting deadlines, organising meetings, making sure everyone's ideas are listened to in turn and that the team gets along well and is pleased with the outcome)
In consultation with coordinator, option of managing directly either a) Publicity and Ticketing & Website or b) Finance & Logistics
Time commitment: Approx. 4 hours per week
Impact & Auxiliary Events
New creative/imaginative role working to increase the impact of the conference before hand (with film screening events etc). Crucial role for understanding influence of the conference and improving it year on year.
In charge of measuring and reporting the impact of the conference afterwards. Working closely with publicity officer to increase awareness of the conference through auxiliary events
Time commitment: Approx. 1-2 hours a week depending on how close to event it is
Logistics Officer
Booking of suitable venue for conference, catering, timeline of conference, arranging side events (e.g. photo exhibition). Vital for the smooth-running of the forum.
Time commitment: Approx. 1-3 hours a week depending on how close to event it is
Publicity
Creating publicity materials both on and offline, organising social media, coordinating between organisations and people within Cambridge (students, staff and external groups)
Time commitment: Approx. 1-3 hours a week depending on how close to event it is
Speakers Coordinator
Managing directly the two speakers officers
Researching speakers for keynote and panels, choosing themes of panels, ensuring speakers are from complementary and diverse backgrounds
Ensuring speakers experience at the forum is smooth and enjoyable through sorting out logistics, writing speakers packs for them, and overall care on the day
Time commitment: Approx. 3-4 hours a week depending on how close to event it is
Speakers Officers
Researching speakers for keynote and panels, choosing themes of panels, ensuring speakers are from complementary and diverse backgrounds

Managing finances of the forum as well as fundraising and obtaining sponsorships

Ticketing & Website
Designing and managing website as well as managing ticketing platform (tech-savviness is encouraged)
Time commitment: Approx. 1-3 hours a week depending on how close to event it is
